The Florida State Seminoles will take on the Virginia Cavaliers at Doak Campbell Stadium for the first time since 2014, and FSU fans are dreading the upcoming gauntlet they have in terms of an ACC schedule.
In recent years, the Cavaliers have seen some success at the position, with guys like Kurt Benkert, who went on to play in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. One also has to mention Aaron Brooks, who played seven seasons for the New Orleans Saints and a rivalry with Michael Vick.
From 2020 to 2025, the Cavaliers have had just two winning seasons: a 6-6 record in 2021 and most recently, an 11-3 campaign in 2025. Virginia was ranked briefly in one of the 2026 AP polls at No. 25, but has fallen out of the rankings in the most recent update.

Virginia: Who is Beau Pribula?
Despite a close loss to West Virginia, Cavaliers head coach Tony Elliott had high praise for his signal-caller: "His leadership put us in position to tie the ballgame late; made an unbelievable play on fourth down to keep a drive alive to go score."
This is Pribula's first year in Charlottesville after stints with the Missouri Tigers and Penn State Nittany Lions, below are his stats during his time with the Cavaliers:
- Completions/Attempts: 66/86
- Yards: 793
- Touchdowns: 11 (T-7th nationally)
- Interceptions: 1
- Best Game: W, 42-3 vs. Delaware - 24/28, 279 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT
- Record: 3-1 (2026)
Pribula has thrown for 11 times as many touchdowns as interceptions. He is coming to Tallahassee to face a porous defense, and it's likely he'll have a day.
Florida State: How did Ashton Daniels do against Central Arkansas?
FSU fans expected Daniels to dominate the FCS team, but that wasn't the case. He had a good game, throwing for 224 yards and two touchdowns compared to one interception. He did not score a rushing touchdown in Saturday's game. Here are his season stats:

- Yards: 928
- Passing Touchdowns: 6
- Rushing Touchdowns: 4
- Interceptions: 5
