The 2026 season is young, but things are starting to take shape in the ACC. It's clear that the Miami Hurricanes are head and shoulders above every other team in the conference, and the SMU Mustangs are their biggest threat when it comes to winning the ACC crown.
Another team that looks like they'll have something to say is the Virginia Cavaliers, especially after their beatdown of the NC State Wolfpack in their season opener. They haven't played any conference games yet, but the North Carolina Tar Heels, Duke Blue Devils, Pittsburgh Panthers, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons are all 2-0 at the moment.
