The ACC enters the 2026 season with one of the deepest groups of wide receivers in the country, featuring proven veterans, breakout stars and several players capable of taking over games on their own. The group also includes multiple players who have earned all-conference recognition and national preseason attention.
Florida State is firmly represented in that conversation thanks to Duce Robinson, who returns after a breakout 2025 campaign and gives the Seminoles one of the most dangerous receiving weapons in the league.
With the season approaching, here is a look at the five best wide receivers in the ACC entering 2026.
5. T.J. Moore - Clemson
The 6-foot-3 junior finished 2025 with 52 receptions for 837 yards and four touchdowns, giving him 97 catches for 1,488 yards through
his first two college seasons. Moore has topped 650 receiving yards in each of his first two years, joining a short list of Clemson receivers that includes Sammy Watkins, Artavis Scott and Justyn Ross.
With Clemson turning to a new starting quarterback, Moore’s experience and big-play ability should make him an important part of the Tigers’ offense.
4. Cooper Barkate - Miami
Barkate transferred to the Hurricanes after helping Duke win the 2025 ACC Championship. He started all 14 games for the Blue Devils and caught 72 passes for 1,106 yards and seven touchdowns, earning second-team All-ACC honors.
Across stops at Harvard and Duke, Barkate has amassed 185 receptions for 2,848 yards and 21 touchdowns. Pairing that résumé with Malachi Toney gives Miami the most accomplished receiver tandem in the conference.
3. Ian Strong - California
Strong recorded 52 receptions for 762 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games last season, earning honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition from the league’s coaches and media. The 6-foot-4 senior has accumulated 1,668 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns during his college career.
His combination of size, experience and steady production should immediately give the Golden Bears a proven option on the outside.
2. Duce Robinson - Florida State
Robinson gave Florida State exactly what it hoped for after transferring from USC, emerging as the Seminoles’ most consistent offensive threat in 2025. The 6-foot-6 receiver caught 56 passes for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns, earning first-team All-ACC honors and reaching the Biletnikoff Award semifinals. His 19.3 yards per reception ranked second in the conference, while his 102.8 receiving yards per game during ACC play led the league.
Robinson also produced five games with at least 120 receiving yards, the most by any Power Four receiver last season. He returns as the centerpiece of Florida State’s passing game and one of the most dangerous downfield targets in the country.
1. Malachi Toney - Miami
The Miami sophomore led the nation with 109 receptions in 2025 while setting Hurricanes single-season records with 109 catches and 1,211 receiving yards. He added 10 receiving touchdowns, finished with 1,622 all-purpose yards and earned ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. The Associated Press also selected him as a second-team All-American.
Toney enters Year 2 as one of college football’s premier offensive weapons and the standard for the rest of the ACC receiver class.
