Florida State football wide receiver Duce Robinson was one of the few bright spots for the program in 2025. He made himself the focal point of the Seminoles' passing attack, and the results were plentiful.
Robinson ended third in the ACC in receiving yards by season's end and 11th nationally. This included five games of over 120 yards receiving with a three-game stretch last November during conference play. Robinson earned First-Team All-ACC honors and a Third-Team All-America nod for his performance.
He's racked up a ton of preseason recognition and is in the running for several awards. On Monday, he got another tip of the hat. Austin Curtright of USA TODAY Sports released a list of the top 100 players for the upcoming season. Robinson landed
extremely high in the rankings.
27. Duce Robinson, WR, Florida State
Was there a more valuable player to their team’s point spread last season than Robinson at Florida State? Robinson was a lone bright spot for one of the worst Power Four teams in college football last season, catching 56 passes for 1,081 yards with six touchdowns after transferring from USC.
The 6-6 receiver will be highly involved in the Seminoles’ offense led by Auburn transfer quarterback Ashton Daniels.
Robinson is a matchup problem at 6-foot-6, and his athletic ability with the ball in his hands makes him even more of a hassle to contain. FSU has other viable options at receiver like Micahi Danzy, who electrified Seminoles' fans a year ago, averaging 21.1 yards per catch, plus a few talented freshmen like four-star prospects Devin Carter and Jasen Lopez. So, Robinson could see more one-on-one opportunities in 2026.
One thing is for certain: regardless of how Florida State's season plays out, Robinson will be a productive player.
