The Florida State Seminoles did not receive any votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 2 of the 2026 college football season. It is the second straight week they received zero votes.
While FSU is unranked, three of their upcoming opponents are. They are set to play their first top 10 opponent this week in the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide
, who are looking for revenge after the Seminoles pulled off the upset last year. They will get a break in Week 4 against the Central Arkansas Bears, but they will follow it up with a showdown against the No. 25 Virginia Cavaliers in Doak Campbell Stadium. Their next ranked game will be on the road, with the Seminoles heading down to Miami to play the No. 5 Hurricanes in their first rivalry game of the season.
FSU will also play several teams on the verge of being ranked. The Florida Gators and Louisville Cardinals are the No. 26 and 27 teams, with FSU playing Louisville on the road before their game against Miami, and then ending the season at home against Florida. The Seminoles will also play the Clemson Tigers and Pittsburgh Panthers, who received 3 and 16 votes, respectively.
