Florida State ends every season with a showdown against the Florida Gators. It's one of, if not the biggest, games on their schedule every year, making it the perfect game to have recruits on their campus when they play at home.
That will be the case on Nov. 27 in Doak Campbell Stadium. They already had a plethora of prospects attending, and a key target on the defensive line has locked in a visit for the matchup, per 247Sports. It's four-star recruit Kingston Brown.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pounder has five other game visits as well. He'll see the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sept. 19, which is when they play FSU, giving them multiple opportunities to impress him. Brown will also visit the Tennessee Volunteers (Sept. 26), Missouri Tigers (Oct. 10), Auburn
Tigers (Oct. 24), and Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Nov. 7).
Brown is listed as the nation's No. 190 recruit and the No. 23 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 26 player in Georgia.
He had an excellent sophomore campaign a season ago. Brown racked up 50 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. He's logged 10 tackles with three tackles for loss in two games so far as a junior.
