The Florida State Seminoles will play the Louisville Cardinals on Friday night in L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. It is a short week for the Seminoles, who are looking to build on their statement win over the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN, with ESPN announcing the broadcasting crew on Monday. Mike Monaco will be the play-by-play announcer with Jordan Rodgers serving as the color commentator, and Dana Boyle reporting from the sideline.
FSU (3-2, 1-1 ACC) is coming into the game with plenty of momentum after beating Virginia 38-7 in Doak Campbell Stadium. It was FSU's first win over a Power Four opponent this season and their second consecutive win overall. Ashton Daniels had a historic performance,
setting a program record with five rushing touchdowns.
Louisville (2-3, 1-2 ACC) is limping into the game after losing home games against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and NC State Wolfpack over the past two weeks. While all three of their losses have come by three points, they have had a disappointing first quarter of the season.
The SMU Mustangs are the only common opponent between the two so far. The Cardinals beat the Mustangs 41-31 while FSU lost 27-24.
FSU leads the series against Louisville 18-6, and is 7-3 on the road. The two have not played since 2023, with the Seminoles winning the last two meetings, including a 16-6 victory in the 2023 ACC Championship game.
