FSU's defense allowed the Clemson Tigers to have their best game of the season against an FBS opponent, giving up 36 points in the loss. It was yet another disappointing effort from a unit that has struggled throughout the season, and Tony White's tenure as defensive coordinator.
Clemson quarterback Tait Reynolds, who had just one passing touchdown before Saturday night, had two in the first half, and completed 18 of his 32 passes for 189 yards. While the Tigers still had struggles offensively, they were able to move the ball when they needed to.
