The FSU Seminoles suffered yet another embarrassing loss on Saturday, falling 36-24 to the Clemson Tigers on Halloween in Doak Campbell Stadium. It is FSU's third straight loss of the season, dropping them to 3-5 overall and 1-4 in ACC play.
Despite coming off a bye, FSU was unable to get anything going. Clemson, which entered the game averaging 18.1 points against FBS opponents, had 23 points at halftime. Tait Reynolds completed 18 of his 32 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns. He had just one passing touchdown entering the game. He supplied the dagger with his legs, breaking off a 79-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
FSU's offense was just as bad. Ashton Daniels turned it over three times, with the Tigers turning them into 10 points.
The Seminoles ran for just 65 yards in thier first game without Ousmane Kromah, averaging 2.2 yards per carry. They also struggled on special teams, with Daniel Hughes averaging just 31.8 yards on his five punts.
The disappointing performance angered FSU's fans, who took to social media to voice their frustrations with the team and Mike Norvell. Here is a look at how FSU fans reacted to losing to Clemson.

Disastrous defense.
Bad special teams.

It is impressive
This team finds new ways to let me down every week

Is that bad?
Barring a major comeback, Florida State will lose its eighth consecutive rivalry game (Florida/Clemson/Miami)
— Matt Baker (@MattBakerCFB) November 1, 2026
FSU has struggled in every phase
Let’s not let giving up 26 points to a terrible Clemson offense distract us from our offense only putting up 10.

Is it time to fire Mike Norvell?
You gotta fire him
— MJ (@Flastar23) November 1, 2026
What does that make FSU?
Clemson is a horrible football team, yet here we are.

A common problem for FSU
I feel like we say this every week for Florida State, but do they just not practice tackling…
— TJ Salomone (@TJSalomone) November 1, 2026
Missed tackle after missed tackle. Every single game.
It's hard to tell
Dawg what are we doing

A terrible showing by FSU
A pathetic effort in the first half by a program in total decline.

FSU misses Ousmane Kromah

Another unacceptable loss by FSU
Getting embarrassed by THIS Clemson team should be unacceptable!! Problem is this administration has accepted so much mediocrity over the yrs, I don’t know if it’s still unacceptable or not
— C.J. Wilson (@CjWilson850) November 1, 2026
Could this be it for Mike Norvell?
As the night goes on…this might be just what we need to get this thing to the finish line pic.twitter.com/lmFtNbvwme
