The FSU Seminoles will play the first game of the Rick Stockstill era on Saturday against the Boston College Eagles. While it is his first game as FSU's interim head coach, he has plenty of experience as a head coach and will look to lead the Seminoles to a strong end of the season.
Stockstill spent 18 years as Middle Tennessee State's head coach, guiding them to a 113-111 record and being named the conference coach of the year three times. He will have a tough task on Saturday as FSU looks to snap its 12-game road losing streak.
The game is set to kick off at noon p.m. ET and will be on the ACC Network, with ESPN announcing the broadcast crew on Monday. Jorge Sedano will be the play-by-play announcer, with Dave Clawson serving as the color commentator,
and Annabelle Hasselbeck reporting from the sideline.
FSU (3-5, 1-4 ACC) is on a three-game losing streak after losing to the Clemson Tigers on Saturday. They will be without wide receiver Duce Robinson, who tore his ACL against the Tigers and will miss the rest of the season. They are also without star running back Ousmane Kromah.
Boston College (4-4, 2-3) is looking to bounce back after getting crushed by the Duke Blue Devils last week, 47-2 on the road. The Eagles have been better at home, going 3-1 with wins over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Pitt Panthers.
