Florida State is going through a rough stretch with two consecutive losses. As far their committed prospects, the Seminoles should be proud of how they've performed. Last week specifically, two recruits had huge performances as they lead their teams to victories.
Ta'Shawn Poole
Poole had one of those games that players will remember for a lifetime. The 2027 four-star safety has seven tackles, but it was his performance on offense that stole the show. Poole registered nine receptions for 245 yards and six touchdowns as Howard High School defeated Baldwin High School 49-43.
He's having a good senior season although he team just improved to 2-2 on the year. Poole also had four receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns when Howard loss in their season opener to Southwest,
and he recorded an interception and a sack a week later against Valdosta. He continues to show why the Seminoles wanted him so much.
Chayse Brown
Brown is a three-star commit in the 2028 class who plays wide receiver and defensive back. Last week, it was his receiving skills that took center stage as Brown racked up 200 yards on five catches and scored two touchdowns as Lennard High School defeated East Bay 35-0.
He's on a four-game streak of over 100 yards receiving in his junior year. For the season so far, Brown has 30 receptions for 588 yards and eight touchdowns. Much like Poole, Brown isn't a player that FSU wants to lose.
