Florida State will end the month by playing the Clemson Tigers on Oct. 31 inside Doak Campbell Stadium. Plenty of prospects have already confirmed that they'll be in attendance, and another one has done the same.
2028 four-star safety Cyion Smith, who committed to the Florida Gators nearly two weeks ago, will be in Tallahassee for the game, per Kolby Crawford of Noles247. The 6-foot-3, 160-pounder was last on campus back on May 31 for a camp, which came eight days after FSU extended him an offer.
This will be his third game visit at Florida State. He attended their season opener last season against the Alabama Crimson Tide as well as their game against the Boston College Eagles in September of 2024.
Smith is very familiar with FSU. He took a Junior
Day visit back in January and also an unofficial visit in April. He visited for a camp last June and took an unofficial visit last March, and he also attended a camp in June of 2024.
The 247Sports composite rankings have Smith listed as the No. 345 overall prospect in the country and the No. 29 safety. He's also the state of Florida's No. 43 recruit.
Florida State is looking to flip Smith and bolster their 2028 class, which is currently the fifth-best in the nation.
