The FSU Seminoles are back on the road, playing the Louisville Cardinals on Friday night in another big game. The Seminoles have not won a road game since 2023, a streak they have a good shot at snapping.
FSU (3-2, 1-1 ACC) is coming into the game with some momentum after crushing the Virginia Cavaliers last week. It was the best they have looked all season. Ashton Daniels had the best performance of his career, running for a program-record five touchdowns. The offense will need to keep it going, with Louisville's offense being one of the best in the country
Louisville (2-3, 1-2 ACC) is looking to get back on track after back-to-back losses to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and NC State Wolfpack, which have them below .500. Despite their struggles,
all three of their losses have been by just three points.
FSU has won the last two meetings between these two ACC rivals, and leads the series 18-6 overall. The game is set to start at 7 p.m. ET in L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium and should have great weather.

Prediction: FSU 38, Louisville 27
I think both offenses will make plays and put up points. In the end, I feel Florida State's offense will eventually be too much for Louisville's defense, which isn't that good at all. Also, I think FSU's defense will get a couple of big stops in critical moments. It will be a battle, but the Seminoles pull away late.

Prediction: FSU 41, Louisville 31
I believe that FSU's offense will be too much for the Louisville defense. We've seen what this team can do against a very good Virginia team. UL is desperate to win, so it'll be close.

Prediction: FSU 34, Louisville 31
Louisville’s explosive offense will challenge an FSU secondary that has been inconsistent, but the Cardinals’ defense has struggled badly enough for Ashton Daniels and the Seminoles’ rushing attack to create problems all night. If Florida State’s pass rush can carry over even some of the disruption it showed against Virginia, I think the Seminoles do just enough to steal a one-score road win.

Prediction: Louisville 38, FSU 31
The Seminoles have not won on the road since the 2023 season, losing their last 10 road games, and their streak will grow to 11 on Friday. Louisville has the talent to get back on track and will pull out the win in a shootout.
