FSU football wide receiver Duce Robinson has been named a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy in 2026.
The Campbell Trophy is given to any football athlete; the award "recognizes an individual as the absolute best in the nation for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership."
The Phoenix, Arizona native was seen as one of the top returners for Florida State's roster, and while he has had a somewhat quiet year, the accolades keep coming. Last year, Robinson was named a Third Team All-American and First Team All-ACC member. Through seven games, Robinson has 22 receptions for 407 yards and four touchdowns in 2026.
There is some history with the ACC, and more specifically, the Seminoles being named to awards
given by the NFF. Robinson is the only finalist from the ACC this year, but this marks FSU's ninth NFF National Scholar Athlete in program history, and their first time being a finalist for this award since 2010. Whether Robinson can win the award will be up to the NFF committee.
Fans can expect the winner to be announced on Dec. 8. You can read the full press release here.
