The FSU Seminoles do not have an offensive lineman committed in their 2027 recruiting class, something that head coach Mike Norvell and offensive line coach Herb Hand have to change. They have turned their focus to the junior college ranks, and they are making some progress with the top-ranked JUCO offensive tackle in the country.
According to Kolby Crawford of Noles247, Antrale Newson will officially visit the Seminoles on Nov. 19-22, the same weekend they will host the NC State Wolfpack. He will also officially visit the USF Bulls (Nov. 12-14) and Ole Miss Rebels (Nov. 27-29).
Newson attends Copiah-Lincoln C.C. and is from Clarksdale, Mississippi. FSU offered him a scholarship on Oct. 12, giving him over a dozen in total. The 6-foot-6, 305-pounder
also has offers from the Virginia Tech Hokies and Arkansas Razorbacks.
He is ranked as the No. 6 overall player and No. 1 offensive tackle in the 247Sports composite JUCO rankings. He is in his freshman season at Copiah-Lincoln C.C.
