The FSU Seminoles have a commitment from four-star running back Jayden Miles, one of the top players in the state of Louisiana. The Baton Rouge product committed to the Seminoles on June 8, but his recruitment is far from over.
He is having an excellent senior season, and two of the top programs in the country are trying to flip him. He originally picked FSU over the Ohio State Buckeyes and LSU Tigers, but neither program has stopped recruiting him, as they both have needs at running back.
While they still have two running back commits, LSU recently lost a commitment from Brennen Lacey and now have even more room for Miles in their 2027 recruiting class. According to Zach Nagy of 247Sports, "LSU is turning up the heat," and they are "intensifying"
their effort to steal him away from FSU.
Miles is ranked as the No. 392 overall player and No. 28 running back in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 14 player from Louisiana.
He has enjoyed an extremely successful career at Baton Rouge Catholic, and his senior year has been no different. While his full stats are not available, he has had several dominant performances. He was unstoppable against Zachary High School, rushing for 214 yards and six touchdowns on just 11 carries, averaging 19.5 yards per carry.
