The FSU baseball program has added another game to its fall schedule ahead of the 2027 season. The Seminoles will play the USF Bulls on Oct. 24 at BayCare Ballpark in Clearwater, Florida, they announced on Wednesday.
It is the fourth game of FSU's fall schedule and the second road game. FSU will start its fall schedule against the Auburn Tigers on Oct. 10 in Pensacola, Florida. They will then return to Dick Howser Stadium, hosting the Jacksonville Dolphins on Oct. 16 and North Florida Ospreys on Oct. 17 before the showdown with USF on Oct. 24
The game against USF is set to start at 1 p.m. ET. FSU leads the all-time series against USF 4-0, picking up a 9-1 win last season. FSU will wrap up its fall schedule on Friday, Oct. 30, with its annual Garnet
& Gold All-Star Game.
The Seminoles went 40-19 last season, but failed to make it out of the Tallahassee Regional. Head coach Link Jarrett added several exciting transfers to try to keep the success going after losing large portions of its roster to the 2026 MLB Draft.
Their transfer class is headlined by Cyaden Suchy, who D1Baseball ranked as the No. 1 pitcher in the transfer portal. Outfielder Ty Peeples is arguably their biggest addition. While he played sparingly at Georgia as a freshman, he has the potential to transform the lineup as a lefty bat with some power.
