The Florida State Seminoles will take on the Clemson Tigers on Halloween at Doak Campbell Stadium in a rivalry matchup.
In recent years, the Tigers have seen great success at the quarterback position, with, most notably, Trevor Lawrence becoming a No. 1 overall pick with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2018 and 2019, Lawrence demolished the Seminoles 59-10 and 45-14, respectively.
From 2020 to 2025, the Tigers have had six winning seasons, and they appear poised to make it seven. Their last losing season came in 2010. Most recently, in 2025, they went 7-6, but lost in the Pinstripe Bowl to the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Here's what you should know about Clemson, particularly how quarterback Tait Reynolds compares to FSU's Ashton Daniels.
Clemson: Who is QB Tait Reynolds?

Florida State: How did Ashton Daniels do against Miami?
Short answer: if either hail mary converts, he is a hero. Even though they did not, he was everything the Seminoles needed him to be and more. While it is true that he threw one interception, through the first four quarters, he was nearly perfect, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for one more.
