The Florida State Seminoles have released their depth chart ahead of their Week 1 game against the SMU Mustangs on Monday, with Dustin Lewis of NolesGameDay sharing the lineup on social media.
The depth chart features just a few tweaks from the one they announced last week ahead of their game against New Mexico State. The entire offensive two-deep is the same, with quarterback Ashton Daniels set to lead the unit.
The defense features several changes, largely due to injury. Linebacker Blake Nichelson is listed as a co-starter with Caleb LaVallee, but was ruled out for the game in Sunday's injury report. Safety K.J. Kirkland is no longer listed as a co-starter with CJ Richard Jr., but is not a co-backup with Antonio Cromartie Jr., who was not listed on last
week's depth chart. Kirkland was listed as doubtful on the injury report.
Safety Jordan Crutchfield, who was also listed as out on the availability report, is no longer listed as a backup to Ashlynd Barker at rover. Donny Heibert is now the only backup, although FSU has cross-trained its safeties.
The game between FSU and SMU is set to start at 7:30 p.m. ET in Doak Campbell Stadium. The game will be on ESPN and is the final game of Week 1. Here is a look at FSU's entire starting lineup against SMU.
