Florida State was able to win its first game against New Mexico State. They were able to run for over 200 yards in the victory, and running back Ousmane Kromah was the spearhead.
The sophomore led the team with 115 yards on 14 carries, marking career highs in both categories. Also, his 8.2 yards per attempt was his second-highest in any game on the collegiate level. This earned Kromah a special honor for his performance.
Pro Football Focus put it's Team of the Week for Week 0. Kromah landed on the list of offensive players.
Offense
Kormah has earned the RB1 role, and this was exactly the kind of start FSU wanted to see from him. Next Monday, he gets a chance to have a big performance against the SMU Mustangs in Florida State's ACC opener.
