The Florida State Seminoles will take on the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday after a difficult week, with the program firing athletic director Michael Alford.

Alabama: Who is QB Keelon Russell?
Head coach Kalen DeBoer was cautious about Russell's play: "He's made some plays, but we have to help him out with some other things. He has to stay away from the big mistakes."
Russell has been with Alabama since 2025, where he served as a reserve quarterback in two games before becoming QB1 in 2026.

Tide won 45-17 in the end. If FSU wants a chance to win, they'll have to capitalize on Alabama's turnovers.
Florida State: How did Ashton Daniels do against SMU?
FSU fans were hoping Daniels would improve against SMU. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. He had an okay game, throwing for 125 yards and one touchdown compared to one interception. He did however, score a rushing touchdown, which now puts his streak of having at least one in each game in 2026.
