The FSU Seminoles will return to action this weekend and will be doing so as the favorites. Florida State will play the Clemson Tigers in Doak Campbell Stadium in a game that lacks the implications it normally carries.
FSU (3-4, 1-3 ACC) is looking to snap a two-game losing streak, but is coming off their final bye week of the season. The Seminoles gave the Miami Hurricanes everything they wanted the last time they were on the field, but were unable to pull off the upset, falling 43-35 in double overtime.
Clemson (4-3, 2-2) will not be nearly as well-rested as the Seminoles, losing to the Virginia Tech Cavaliers 20-16 last weekend. The Tigers are 1-1 in road games this season and have one of the worst offenses in the country, averaging just 21.4
points per game, the 111th most in the country.

FSU is riding a two-game losing streak against Clemson, and has not beaten the Tigers in Tallahassee since 2018. While the Seminoles lead the all-time series 21-17, Clemson has won nine of the last 10 meetings. FSU has won four of the previous five meetings before Clemson took control of the series.

Both of these teams have struggled this season, and neither is close to where they should be. FSU has the advantage coming off a bye and being at home, but the loss of Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr. has put the pressure on Quintrevion Wisner and Ashton Daniels to lead the rushing attack. The Seminoles will do just enough to get the win, holding on in a sloppy game.
