The Florida State Seminoles have the No. 6-ranked recruiting class in the 2028 cycle, but they want to add more talent to it. They've gone all the way to the state of California with one of their latest offers. On Thursday, unranked wide receiver Mylan Williams announced that he was extended a scholarship by FSU.
"I am extremely blessed and humbled to say that I have received an offer from Florida State University," said Williams on social media.
This was his fifth offer in total. The others have come from the UCLA Bruins, Washington Huskies, North Carolina Tar Heels, and the Oregon State Beavers. He attends Paramount High School in Paramount, California.
Williams has had a very productive junior year so far. Last Friday, he racked up 113 yards
on two receptions, and both went for touchdowns as he helped Paramount beat the California Condors 63-3. It was his third consecutive game over the century mark as he caught 12 passes for 124 yards and two scores in a win over Bellflower the week prior, and he registered eight receptions for 159 yards three weeks ago in a victory over Santa Fe.
The 6-foot-5, 190-pounder is certainly an intriguing name to keep an eye on for FSU as they try to continue building their 2028 class.
