Florida State has a huge ACC battle this weekend inside Doak Campbell Stadium when the Virginia Cavaliers come to town. They have some prospects in attendance, and one will be 2028 three-star defensive lineman Darion Newton out of Locust Grove, Georgia.
"I will be visiting Florida State University this Saturday!🍢🍢," Newton announced on social media.
Newton is the No. 910 overall recruit in the country and the No. 100 defensive lineman per Rivals industry rankings. He's listed as the No. 95 prospect in the state of Georgia as well.
The 6-foot-2, 270-pounder currently has 10 offers on the table so far. The Illinois Fighting Illini, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and West Virginia Mountaineers are the ones that stand out.
Time will tell if this visit
will lead to Newton getting an offer from FSU.
