Florida State will have a packed Doak Campbell Stadium waiting when the Seminoles return home later this month. FSU announced that its Sept. 26 matchup against Central Arkansas has officially sold out, ensuring a capacity crowd for the Seminoles’ third home game of the 2026 season.
Florida State and Central Arkansas are scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. ET on ACC Network at Bobby Bowden Field at Doak S. Campbell Stadium. The matchup will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
The sellout adds another notable atmosphere to Florida State’s home schedule. Doak Campbell Stadium currently holds 67,277 fans following the completion of its two-year renovation project ahead of the 2025 season. Florida State has reached that listed capacity three
times since the renovated stadium reopened.
The Central Arkansas game will also coincide with two major events on the FSU calendar.
Florida State will celebrate Family Weekend and Hall of Fame Weekend, with the university expecting more than 700 families to visit campus from Sept. 25-27. The 2026 FSU Athletics Hall of Fame class includes former Seminoles Nick O’Leary, Bjoern Werner, Sean Gilmartin and others.
Before turning its attention to the Bears, Florida State has a much more difficult challenge ahead.
The Seminoles travel to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to face the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium. FSU will then return to Tallahassee for the sold-out Central Arkansas matchup one week later.
For fans unable to secure tickets through Florida State’s primary allotment, resale tickets could still be available through secondary marketplaces.
