The NFL is getting ready to kickoff its season next week. Of course, that means rosters are starting to be finalized league-wide, and several former Florida State Seminoles have landed on practice squads.
LB Cam Riley signs with the Miami Dolphins
Riley finished his collegiate career at FSU in 2024. He went undrafted a year ago before signing with the New England Patriots. After being waived, he landed on the practice squad of the Tennessee Titans last December, but he was waived in April. In August, signed with the Dolphins before being released on Sunday. Now, he's back on their practice squad.
OL Jacob Rizy signs with the New England Patriots
Rizy spent two seasons at Florida State before signing with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in April. After a recent release, Rizy is back with the Patriots as a depth piece on their practice
squad.
QB DJ Uiagalelei signs with the Los Angeles Chargers
Uiagelelei spent his final season in college at FSU in 2024 before going undrafted. The Chargers signed him as an undrafted free agent last April before they waived him last week after signing a reserve/futures contract with the Chargers in January. On Monday, he signed back to their practice squad.
