The Florida State Seminoles travelled to Alabama to take on the then-No. 10 Crimson Tide, and despite a 21-6 lead in the second quarter, FSU ultimately fell to them, 50-36.
While FSU did not receive any votes in the AP Top 25 after Week 3, three ACC teams are now ranked. The Miami Hurricanes are at No. 6 after beating Wake Forest by 13. The Louisville Cardinals are at No. 16, and SMU is at No. 22. Virginia has dropped out of the rankings this week.
Texas still holds the No. 1 spot after defeating UTSA, 30-6. Georgia stays at No. 2, along with Notre Dameat No. 3. Ole Miss rises to No. 4 after defeating then-No. 7 LSU in Lane Kiffin's return. Indiana and Miami round out the top six at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
FSU will look to try to bounce back
when they welcome their FCS opponent for the year, the Central Arkansas Bears, on Saturday, Sep. 26 at 3:00 p.m. ET to Doak Campbell Stadium. The game will air on the ACC Network.
