The FSU Seminoles are recruiting 2028 four-star wide receiver Bubba Brown extremely hard. A huge reason is because the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder has move back to Tallahassee and is once again attending Florida State University High School after spending a year at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia.
As the season gets set to commence, Brown has 10 game visits locked in. FSU is getting a huge chunk of those trips on their campus as they'll see him three times per Zach Blostein of 247Sports. Brown will be there this Saturday for their season opener against New Mexico State, Oct. 31 versus the Clemson Tigers, and in their season finale on Nov. 27 against the Florida Gators. Also, he'll be in Tuscaloosa on Sept. 19 when FSU travels to play the Alabama
Crimson Tide.
This is big for Florida State's chances of keeping Brown in Tallahassee. That's because he's also set to go visit the Auburn Tigers, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns, South Carolina Gamecocks, Miami Hurricanes, and Florida as well.
Brown is the No. 140 prospect nationally and the No. 20 wide receiver in 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the state of Florida's No. 18 recruit.
FSU isn't just after Brown to play football. Much like true freshman wide receiver Jasen Lopez, they also want him to play basketball as he's coming off a season in which he tallied 13.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. As a football player, he racked up 28 receptions for 518 yards and five touchdowns plus 156 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Brown also produced one interception on defense and held down punt return duties.
It's all there for Florida State to make a great impression on Brown, but they have to have positive results on the field to make that happen.
