The Florida State Seminoles will take on the Boston College Eagles in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, for the first time since 2023 for an ACC matchup.
In recent years, the Eagles have seen some success at the quarterback position, with, most notably, Matt Ryan becoming a No. 3 overall pick with the Atlanta Falcons and also being the ACC's 2007 Offensive Player of the Year and also its Player of the Year in football. Florida State's 27-17 upset of No. 2 Boston College on November 3, 2007, was one of the defining moments of this series.
From 2020 to 2025, the Eagles have three winning seasons, but don't let that fool you. They have not won more than seven games since 2009, and no more than 10 since 2007. Their last losing season came in 2025, when
they went 2-10.
Here's what you should know about Boston College, particularly how quarterback Mason McKenzie compares to FSU's Ashton Daniels.
