The FSU Seminoles beat the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday, improving to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in ACC play with the win. While it will be tough, their upcoming schedule now looks easier after all of Week 5's action.
The Seminoles are set to play the Louisville Cardinals on the road on Friday night, but they are suddently in a free fall. The Cardinals lost to the NC State Wolfpack and are no longer receiving votes in the updated US LBM Coaches Poll.
They will follow that up with a game against the Miami Hurricanes, who are still the No. 4 team in the country after beating the Clemson Tigers on the road, who FSU will play in Tallahassee the following week. The Tigers are no longer receiving votes in the poll after losing 41-13 to Miami.
The biggest
faller in the poll is the Florida Gators, who fell seven spots to No. 15 after getting crushed by the Missouri Tigers. The Seminoles are set to host them in the final game of the regular season.
