The FSU Seminoles play their first rivalry game of the season this weekend and will look to pull off a stunning upset. The Seminoles will face the No. 3 Miami Hurricanes in Hard Rock Stadium as three-touchdown underdogs.
FSU (3-3, 1-2 ACC) is once again looking to respond after a road loss, their 11th in a row. The Seminoles blew a 14-0 lead to the Louisville Cardinals, losing 44-20 and allowing 397 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. The offense was unable to do anything after the strong start, averaging a season-low 4.70 yards per play.
Miami (5-0, 3-0 ACC) has made it clear they are the best team in the ACC and appear poised to win their first-ever ACC Championship. They have the best defense in the conference, allowing just 9.8 points
and 4.16 yards per play. The offense, led by Heisman contenders Malachi Toney and Darian Mensah, has been just as good, leading the conference in scoring (49.6) and yards per play (8.21).

FSU vs. Miami predictions, pick
These two historic rivals are not on the same level right now, and Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes will take the chance to hammer that home on Saturday night. The Seminoles have not won on the road since the 2023 season and are outmatched at every position on the field. Miami looks like a legit national title contender and will blow out FSU this weekend. Look for Toney and Mensah to have another big game against a weak FSU secondary.
Prediction: Miami 45, FSU 17
