Long-tenured head coach Andy Reid has taken some flak from fans and the media amid the Kansas City Chiefs' recent two-game losing streak.
Reid, some would say, has been underperforming in his capacity as the Chiefs' offensive guru, and has let stale and uncreative play calling affect Kansas City's production with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes under center.
Former Chiefs quarterback Chase Daniel defended Reid in a recent appearance on 'Up & Adams' with Kay Adams, telling the veteran sportscaster that his former skipper is not necessarily to blame for Kansas City's struggles.
Hear Daniel's full remarks in this video, which was posted to Twitter by Adams' official account:

If Daniels' assessment of the Chiefs' current predicament is to be believed, fans should expect Kansas City to get back on track when it faces the New York Jets in a highly anticipated Week 9 showdown at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, November 8.
