Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton spoke with reporters on Wednesday. He commented on improvements from the Denver Broncos' offense since Week 1.
"Yeah, obviously I think that they're rolling. They found some things that worked for them," said Bolton. "I think Bo Nix has done a good job of using his feet, getting the ball to his ball catchers, trusting his O-line, sticking with the run game. I think one of the things that after our game was, they didn't stick with the run."
In Week 1, Bolton and the Chiefs' defense held Denver quarterback Bo Nix to 131 passing yards (17-of-28) and one interception. They also forced three fumbles and limited Denver to just 176 total yards.
"They've been doing that a little bit better the last couple of games.
And (Jonah Coleman) twenty came in and gave them a little juice in the back end," said Bolton. "Then (RJ) Harvey's been doing his thing, and J.K. Dobbins as well. So, all 11 are going to be needed when he starts to run early. And then force Bo Nix in some difficult situations if we can."
The Chiefs' defense also secured 4 sacks at Arrowhead Stadium in their first meeting, adding confidence in their ability to use the pass rush against the Broncos' offensive line.
