According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Carson Wentz will take the field as the Minnesota Vikings' starting quarterback in a Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills on 'Monday Night Football.'
Wentz spent the 2024 season with the Chiefs before signing with Minnesota as a free agent last year. He originally entered the league as the No. 2 pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft and played in stints for the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Rams before finding his way to the Vikings via Kansas City.
Take a look at Schefter's full report on Wentz, which was posted to Twitter by the veteran insider on his official account:

A member of the Eagles' Super Bowl LII squad and five-time FCS National Champion during his time as a collegian with the North Dakota State Bison, Wentz has a winning pedigree that few backup quarterbacks in the NFL can match.
