The Kansas City Chiefs relied on punter Matt Araiza during their Week 4 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. His performance earned him the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
Araiza became the fourth Chiefs punter to earn the honor and the first since Tommy Townsend in 2022. He punted five times for 238 yards (47.6 yards per punt) and landed all five of his punts inside the 20-yard line. The five punts inside the 20-yard line are the most in a single game this season. The former San Diego State standout also rushed for 12 yards on a successful fake punt in the first quarter.
