The Kansas City Chiefs elevated defensive lineman Marcus Harris from their practice squad on November 7 ahead of a Week 9 matchup against the New York Jets.
Harris — a former Kansas Jayhawk and Auburn Tiger who was selected by the Houston Texans
in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft — initially signed a practice squad contract with the Chiefs after spending time with the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.Though he hasn't played a major role in Kansas City's defense this season, Harris has been active for three of the Chiefs' first seven games.
News of Harris' elevation was first reported by veteran insider Aaron Wilson in a post to his official Twitter account:

Harris shouldn't be expected to play a major
role in Steve Spagnuolo's defense during Kansas City's tilt with New York, but fans should keep their eyes on the veteran defender as a potential depth option on the Chiefs' front four.
