What is the story about?

Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Jeff Allen seems to think that Tyreek Hill is set to make a triumphant return to Western Missouri.

Shortly after Kansas City's Week 9 win over the New York Jets, Allen took to social media to make a cryptic post implying that a deal to reunite Hill with the Chiefs could be in the works.

While no reports have surfaced that Kansas City is actively pursuing Hill, Allen was a teammate of the All-Pro pass-catcher during a stint with the Chiefs in 2018 and 2019.

Take a look at Allen's cryptic post on Twitter after Kansas City's latest win:

Time will tell if Allen is to be proven correct in his prognostication about the Chiefs' future, but with the 2026 NFL trade deadline rapidly

approaching, Kansas City seems more likely to acquire a wide receiver who has already produced this year, rather than signing a free agent recovering from a season-ending injury.
