According to veteran insider Jeremy Fowler, the Kansas City Chiefs are "in the market" for help at the wide receiver position ahead of the 2026 NFL trade deadline on November 10.
While hard evidence of Kansas City's interest in acquiring a new pass-catcher is scarce, rumors have circulated that the Chiefs intend to add a new target for Patrick Mahomes after injuries decimated the depth of the team's receiving corps early in the regular season.
"...Jacksonville must make a firm decision on Brian Thomas Jr.," Fowler wrote, linking the former LSU Tiger to Kansas City. "Several teams are interested (Chiefs and Steelers are in the receiver market) and are confident Jacksonville will eventually move him. But the Jaguars have not shown a willingness
to do so yet."
It is unclear if general manager Brett Veach will ultimately decide that spending draft picks to bring in a veteran wideout is in Kansas City's best interest, but if recent reports from Fowler and his contemporaries are to be believed, the Chiefs are hard at work behind the scenes attempting to find the best possible deal for new talent.
