Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has earned a reputation for supporting up-and-coming athletes. He's established programs and forms of support for local high school football teams.
Mahomes spoke with reporters earlier this season about the importance of giving back to student-athletes.
"It's probably the favorite thing I do in general is with the Gladiator logo and sponsoring these teams. High school football was so important to me, and I'm still best friends with some of the guys who were my receivers, running backs, and stuff like that in high school," said Mahomes. "Obviously, it's cool what I do at Texas Tech. I love everything like that, but giving back to the youth, letting them get that logo on their jersey- I remember how
important that was for me. You'd wear it to school on Fridays and then get to go out there and play. There's some great high schools down here and I'm excited for them to have that logo on their jersey and going out there and represent the right way."
The Gladiator logo reflects Mahomes' commitment to championing the next generation of football talent and providing them with best-in-class product to help them reach new heights from high school through collegiate sports and beyond.
