The Kansas City Chiefs are tied with the Las Vegas Raiders after star quarterback Patrick Mahomes found his rhythm with veteran wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Tyquan Thornton early in the first quarter of a Week 4 AFC West showdown at Allegiant Stadium.
Down 7-0 late in the first quarter, Mahomes initially connected with Worthy for a 41-yard gain that put Kansas City in the red zone with a chance to tie the game.
The two-time MVP then found Thornton in the end zone for a touchdown that tied the game and shifted momentum shortly before the second quarter.
Take a look at these videos of Worthy's big gain and Thornton's touchdown reception, which were posted to Twitter by the NFL's official account:

If Mahomes continues to find success with Worthy downfield and Thornton in the red zone, Kansas City's fans should expect to see the Chiefs escape this Week 4 matchup with its perfect record intact.
