According to the experts at Pro Football Focus, Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has been one of the NFL's most penalized players since 2021.

“Sneed has been wont to attract [penalty] calls even in his top seasons,” PFF’s Bradley Locker said of the veteran defender. “The [current] Chief and [former] Titan has been the most culpable in defensive pass interference, ranking fourth with 17 such calls since 2021. Sneed’s 11 defensive holds also tie for fourth-most.”

Sneed has been a quality cornerback throughout his six seasons in the NFL and cut his teeth as a key member of Kansas City's Super Bowl LVII and LVIII rosters early in his career.

While Sneed has proven that he can effectively cover the league's top wide receivers, his tendency

to get penalized could negatively impact the Chiefs' 2026 campaign if the former Louisiana State Bulldog doesn't correct some of his bad habits from previous seasons.
