The Kansas City Chiefs saw rookie defensive back Mansoor Delane record his first NFL interception against the Denver Broncos on 'Monday Night Football' in Week 1.
Delane, who joined the Chiefs as a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, is expected to play a key role in defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's secondary this season and wasted no time making his presence felt on the field.
The former LSU Tiger's pick came during Denver's first possession in the primetime tilt and put Kansas City in a position to score the game's first points.

While Kansas City still has plenty
of work to do if it intends to win its first game of the 2026 season, Delane's outstanding performance in the first quarter gave the Chiefs an early edge over Denver.
