During a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, XPE Sports founder and trainer Tony Villani spoke about the fitness influence of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce heading into the 2026 season included marriage to Taylor Swift.
"We know if you're putting a good woman in your life and cutting out some of the nonsense, you're probably taking care of yourself a little better," Villani said. "Good surroundings create good outcomes."
Swift remains a presence at most Chiefs games, with memorable appearances at the first two prime-time home games of the 2026 season. She notably talked football with ESPN's Pat McAfee during the season opener against the Denver Broncos, and her Week 2 Indianapolis Colts game went viralafter Travis Kelce's
touchdown, when she pointed to her wedding ring and yelled, "That's my husband!"
Kelce is off to a strong start in his 14th NFL season and recently turned 37. He signed a multi-year contract extension during the offseason; the deal is structured as a one-year contract, with two extra years added for salary-cap purposes. The expectation is that 2026 will be his final season in the league, with his assumed retirement draining his remaining cap hits over future years.
