According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes now holds the longest regular-season overtime win streak among starting quarterbacks in NFL history.
Mahomes set this unique record by defeating the Indianapolis Colts
on 'Sunday Night Football' in a Week 2 contest that saw the two-time MVP complete 32 of his 47 pass attempts for 382 yards and three touchdowns.The former Texas Tech Red Raider passed Pro Bowl quarterback Jake Plummer — who played for the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers between 1997 and 2007 — to set the new high-water mark in the overtime winning streak category.
