The Kansas City Chiefs begin the 2026 regular season on September 14, but the brief break has allowed for other non-football activities.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was recently spotted celebrating his wife Brittany's birthday with the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
The Mahomes family got backstage after the show, where the three-time Super Bowl MVP received a custom jacket. He wore it in a photo with the group members, as if he were an honorary member.

A great moment for everyone involved, especially die-hard Chiefs fan and Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson. He spoke with Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. shortly before the Chiefs' Super Bowl LV matchup with the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers about his fandom.
"The Hunt family, I've had the pleasure of spending some time with them; my wife and I usually make it into Kansas City for a game, and sometimes they'll host us in the owner's suite, just a class act family all the way around of just great people." said Richardson, "The fact that last year (2019 season) they got that AFC trophy and then they got the Super Bowl couldn't have happened to a better organization, a better family; they're just really sweet people, so last year my favorite probably of all-time."
The Backstreet Boys are in their first Sphere residency, 'Into the Millennium,' which began on July 11, 2025, and is scheduled to conclude on January 2, 2027.
