The Kansas City Chiefs won their Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos on 'Monday Night Football' due in no small part to the contributions of superstar running back Kenneth Walker III, who racked up nearly 200 total yards and two touchdowns in the primetime showdown.
Walker is an elusive runner with enviable foot speed, a combination that Kansas City's fans have desperately wanted to see the Chiefs pair with Patrick Mahomes in Andy Reid's offense.
According to Underdog Fantasy Sports, Walker forced 14 missed tackles in Kansas City's victory over Denver, a number that exceeds the full-season output of former Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco in 2025:

While it remains to be seen if Walker can maintain his torrid pace through the early part of Kansas City's 2026 regular season slate, his addition to the Chiefs' backfield should prove to be one of the team's most consequential acquisitions in recent memory.
