Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid recently spoke with reporters about the offense and running back Kenneth Walker III's impact over the first four games of the season.
"Yeah, listen, we're doing some good things. We've got a good mix going. We're scoring points there, and so those are important things as you get into it. This defense we're playing this week is a good defense," said Reid, "I know what their record is and all that, but they've been in all these games here, and that defense has really done a nice job for them when you really look close at them. It's a good challenge for us."
Walker rushed for a career-best 177 yards in Week 4, with 149 after contact. He's been on a historic pace alongside the Chiefs' passing attack, creating
effective balance weekly.
"Yeah, I would tell you not really because we thought (RB Kenneth Walker) he did well, especially when (Seattle Seahawks) they had to turn everything over to him during the playoffs," said Reid. "So, we saw his whole game there, and now we're just seeing it on an extended basis, where he comes in, and he's been able to showcase all that."
Walker has now recorded 175 or more scrimmage yards in three of his four games this season, making him just the fourth player in league history to reach that mark three times before Week 5.
