Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke with reporters on Monday, sharing updates on two starters ahead of the Week 4 battle against the Las Vegas Raiders.
"I'll tell you what, I will let you guys know when Josh (Simmons) is coming back. I'll be the first to tell you. We'll just see how all that works," said Reid, who followed up with an update on defensive back Chamarri Conner, "Yeah, so he practiced last week, and he'll get going this week, too. So, there's a good chance he'll be out there. We'll just see how the week goes, but it looks like it'll be a pretty decent chance."
Simmons and Conner haven't played this season, as they have been inactive ahead of each game. The second-year offensive lineman has been dealing with a back injury,
while Conner is working his way back from a knee issue. Reid will supply more details on the duo during the practice week before Sunday.
Kansas City travels to Las Vegas in Week 4 to face the equally undefeated Raiders in their last game before the early bye week.
