NFL Films is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Inside the NFL as the program continues its second season on X as an X Original. The Kansas City Chiefs franchise played a significant role in the program’s history through the tenure of a legendary quarterback.
From 1977 to 2001, Chiefs legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Dawson hosted Inside the NFL. In 2012, the Pro Football Hall of Fame honored him with the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award for his contributions as a sports broadcaster. For 50 seasons, the show has been the definitive source for weekly NFL Films highlights, showcasing previously unseen angles of pivotal game action and behind-the-scenes audio.
