The Chiefs signed tight end Thomas Odukoya, who was born in Amsterdam but played football at two junior colleges before spending four college football seasons at Eastern Michigan. The Tennessee Titans signed him in 2022 as part of the International Pathway program.
The NFL's International Player Pathway (IPP) program gives elite athletes from outside the United States and Canada a chance to earn a spot on an NFL roster. The league offers teams a 17th practice squad spot specifically for an IPP member.
The 29-year-old is 6-6 and 253 pounds and hasn't had
a reception in his career, but has proven himself to be a good blocker and could be a positive contributor, especially with the renewed emphasis on the running game with Kenneth Walker III.
Odukoya appeared in two NFL games for the Titans in 2024 and spent last season on the New England Patriots' practice squad. He earned Third-team All-MAC honors during the 2021 college football season.
